Membership Pass terms

ORBYND Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 August 2026. These terms apply to applications, the Membership Pass, Guest Pass, digital community features and physical ORBYND Events. Mandatory consumer law always remains applicable.

1. Organisation

ORBYND is offered by To-Be Media B.V., Kingsfordweg 151, 1043 GR Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce no. 80609759, email: info@orbynd.com.

2. No open access

An application is free and does not yet create an agreement or payment obligation. ORBYND may accept an application, place it on a waitlist, request additional information or decide, with reasons, not to continue. Selection focuses on authenticity, intent, safety, capacity and community balance and must comply with applicable anti-discrimination law.

3. Agreement and payment

After acceptance, the applicant receives an offer stating the price, duration, included services and applicable cancellation information. The agreement arises only after explicit acceptance and successful payment. ORBYND does not charge fees without clear prior confirmation.

4. Founding Membership Pass

The Founding Membership Pass costs €179 for 12 months and is limited in availability. During the first 12 months all eligible Signature Events are included. On future renewal, the regular Membership Pass in principle includes five Signature Events per 12-month period unless the renewal offer clearly states otherwise in advance.

Promised benefits are not unilaterally reduced during an already paid term. Changes may apply to a new term and are communicated in advance, after which the member remains free not to renew.

5. Guest Pass

Under the current offer, the ORBYND Guest Pass costs €69 per selected Signature Event and includes the elements stated on the booking page, including personal application, Match Profile, curated group composition, welcome drink, Connection Concierge, temporary Event Circle and Mutual Connect. A Guest Pass does not provide permanent community access.

6. Reservations and capacity

Reservations remain mandatory even when an Event is included in the Membership Pass. A reservation is final only after confirmation. Access may depend on capacity, Event profile, safety and balanced group composition. ORBYND applies these criteria reasonably and transparently and, where possible, offers a waitlist or suitable alternative.

7. Premium Events and external providers

Dinners with fixed menu prices, trips, getaways and other Events with substantial external costs are not included by default unless explicitly stated otherwise. Additional terms of venues, carriers or accommodation providers may apply and will be made available before booking.

8. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds

Applicable cancellation and refund rules are shown clearly before each payment. Statutory withdrawal rights and exceptions for leisure services on a specific date remain fully applicable. If a member explicitly requests a digital or other service to begin during a statutory cooling-off period, the consequences for the right of withdrawal are explained in advance.

If ORBYND cancels an Event, ORBYND will reasonably offer a replacement date, credit or refund for the cancelled element unless force majeure or mandatory law requires a different outcome.

9. No-show

An unused reservation occupies capacity and affects group balance. Repeated absence without timely cancellation may result in temporary restrictions on reservation rights or a clearly communicated, reasonable no-show fee. Any measure remains proportionate.

10. Profile, verification and account

Information must be accurate and up to date. Access is personal and non-transferable. ORBYND may manually verify identity at check-in and does not keep a copy of the identity document. Misuse of access, QR codes or accounts may lead to temporary blocking.

11. Conduct, reports and termination

The ORBYND Code of Conduct forms part of these terms. Depending on severity and circumstances, ORBYND may warn, refuse a reservation, restrict features, suspend someone or terminate a Membership Pass. Immediate action may be taken for serious safety risks. Where appropriate, the person concerned is given an opportunity to respond.

12. Matching and Mutual Connect

ORBYND facilitates selection, recommendations and introductions but does not guarantee a match, mutual interest, contact, relationship or other outcome. A Mutual Connect opens only by mutual choice. Members remain responsible for their own decisions and conduct.

13. Photos, content and intellectual property

A profile photo is used only as described in the Privacy Notice. ORBYND requests separate consent for recognisable marketing content. ORBYND's website, brand assets, formats and original content may not be commercially used or copied without permission.

14. Liability

ORBYND is responsible for attributable failures under applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not permit limitation, including liability for intent or where exclusion toward consumers would be unlawful. ORBYND is not responsible for independent conduct of members or external services outside its reasonable control, except where ORBYND itself fails in selection, organisation or safety.

15. Force majeure

In circumstances outside reasonable control—such as government measures, serious safety incidents, venue failure or transport disruption—ORBYND may adjust or move an Event. ORBYND communicates as soon as possible and offers a reasonable solution proportionate to the affected element.

16. Complaints and applicable law

Complaints can be sent to info@orbynd.com and will be substantively addressed. Dutch law applies to the agreement without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection in the country where the consumer habitually resides. Disputes are submitted to the court competent under mandatory law.

17. Changes and severability

ORBYND may amend terms for future applications or new terms. Material changes are communicated clearly and in good time. If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force and the invalid provision is replaced by a valid one that most closely reflects its purpose and consumer law. For transparency, see the official Belgian guidance on unfair terms.

ORBYND

A selective community for meaningful connections.
